Community Meet and Greet with Chief Markham

The Columbia Heights community is invited to a meet and greet with Police Chief Matt Markham on May 14 from 4-5:30 pm at Bruce Nawrocki Park (1271 Circle Terrace Blvd NE). Markham, the 12th Police Chief in the City's history, was sworn in on April 26.

There will be free food and light refreshments while supplies last.

About Matt Markham:

A member of the Columbia Heights Police Department since 1998, Markham brings over 25 years of experience to the role of Columbia Heights Police Chief. Most recently, Markham served as Police Captain since 2018. In his time with Columbia Heights, he has developed a wealth of experience in community policing, training, recruitment, and mentorship
