Garden Plots
The City of Columbia Heights has 48 garden plots, 10 feet by 15 feet, on Reservoir Boulevard and 46th that are available to rent for the planting season.
- Returning gardeners (resident or non-resident) have from January 3 through March 31 to reserve their same plot(s) from the previous year. No more than three plots per person.
- Beginning April 1 a new gardener who is a Columbia Heights resident, may reserve one open plot. Returning gardeners may reserve one additional plot, not to exceed a total of three plots.
- Beginning April 15 a new gardener, non-resident or a returning gardener who wants an additional plot may reserve an open plot, again, not to exceed a total of three plots.
- The number of maximum plots per person will be assessed each season to ensure all interested gardeners have an opportunity.
The price for each garden plot is $30. Payment is due at the time of reservation. Call the Recreation Office for more details at (763) 706-3730.
