City Needs Election Judges; Training and Pay Provided
Columbia Heights needs a new generation of poll workers to step in for those who are retiring. The city also needs judges who are fluent in languages other than English to assist a more diverse population of voters.

Poll workers receive training and have a right to get time off from their job to serve. The primary election is Aug 14. The general election is Nov 6.

To be an election judge, apply here or contact City Clerk Katie Bruno at kbruno@columbiaheightsmn.gov or (763) 706-3611.

Students can serve as election judge trainees
High school students are encouraged to serve as election judge trainees. Student election judge trainees receive training and are paid for their work.

To qualify, students must be 16 years old or older on or before Election Day, be a U.S. citizen, be in good academic standing at a
Minnesota high school (or home-schooled), and have permission from their parents and their school.

Applications are available here.

For any election related questions, please visit www.columbiaheightsmn.gov/government/elections&voting or contact City Clerk Katie Bruno at kbruno@columbiaheightsmn.gov or (763) 706-3611.
