Free LEGO Time at the Library Begins Sept 12

LEGO Time at the Library Free for Kids in Grades K-6
Sept 12, 4 pm, marks the return of the LEGO Challenge at the Columbia Heights Public Library. The library will provide the LEGOs, kids bring the imagination.

This free program gives kids in grades K-6 a chance to spend an hour once a month building whatever they want with LEGOs. What they build is then displayed in a library display case.

“It’s an hour of free build where kids can learn problem solving skills, meet other kids, and make friendships,” said Brianna Belanger, children’s librarian.

No registration is required. Kids can just drop by.

The LEGO Challenge happens the second Wednesday of every month throughout the school year from 4 to 5 pm. Upcoming dates include: Sept 12, Oct 10, Nov 14, and Dec 12.
