Fire Dept is Giving Out Free Batteries for Fire Prevention Month

It's National Fire Prevention Week! One of the best and easiest ways to keep your family safe is to test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and make sure the batteries are charged.

Stop by the Columbia Heights Fire Department now to pick up a free 9v battery (825 41st Ave NE), while supplies last. Limit of two batteries per address.

BatteryGiveaway2018
Energizer, the International Association of Fire Chiefs, and fire departments nationwide have joined forces for the annual Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery program to raise awareness of the importance of working smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors in helping to keep families safe in their homes. This is the 26th year of the program.
