Top Valu & HeightsNEXT Present the 2nd Annual Cheers for Beers Friday

Returning for a second year, HeightsNEXT, in partnership with Top Valu Liquor, is bringing back its Cheers for Beers fundraiser Fri, May 17, 6-9 pm, at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St NE in Columbia Heights.

More than 35 breweries will help the event live up to its name, and all brews poured will be available for purchase at Top Valu Liquor #1.

A silent auction will assist in fundraising and a DJ will provide music. There will also be food trucks on-site. Local breweries and cider houses will compete for a “Best Local Brew” award.

Tickets for this 21+ event are $35 at any Columbia Heights Top Valu Liquor store, or online at cheersforbeersmn.com. Tickets are $40 at the door. Tickets include a sampling glass and unlimited beer-tastings. HeightsNEXT will provide $5 vouchers for discounted Lyft rides home.

HeightsNEXT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes sustainability and resilience through community and culture, sponsoring many community events every year. Top Valu Liquor is owned and operated by the City of Columbia Heights.
