Submit Your Commemorative Quilt Ideas

To help celebrate the City of Columbia Heights’ centennial in 2021, a commemorative quilt will be assembled by a community quilting group this fall. We’re asking our residents to share their favorite part of Columbia Heights. 

You can submit ideas or memories such as playing at McKenna Park, attending a movie at the Heights Theater, or watching the Jamboree parade! The deadline to submit an idea for the centennial quilt is Thu, Oct. 1.

Are you a quilter? Members of the community may also submit their own square for the centennial quilt.

Please email Will Rottler (wrottler@columbiaheightsmn.gov) to submit your quilt idea or to request info on making your own quilting square.

Due to the limited size of the quilt, not all ideas will be included in the final product.
