Boards and Commissions Application Deadline Is March 4

Seats are open on four Columbia Heights Boards and Commissions. Apply by March 4 to be considered.

Citizen commissions contribute to the quality of life in the community by assisting the City Council in an advisory capacity regarding a wide range of activities. Residents who serve their community in this way gain valuable insight relative to City operations. Commissioners have the capacity to help shape the community through decisions and input. Members volunteer their time to attend meetings throughout the year to address pertinent matters.

Number of open seats: 3 Planning Commission, 2 Library Board, 3 Park and Recreation Commission, 1 Charter Commission.

Find an application online or pick one up at City Hall or at the Columbia Heights Public Library. Bring or mail completed applications to City Hall, or email sion@columbiaheightsmn.gov
