Last Chance to Submit Outstanding Citizen Nominations for 2022
So far this year, we've received several nominations in the adult category, but still none for the youth category for ages 14-18. There are less than 24 hours left to submit a nomination. Nomination forms for the 2022 Outstanding Citizen of the Year can be found at www.columbuaheightsmn.gov/outstanding. Email completed nominations to bsandell@columbiaheightsmn.gov by 4 pm May 3. You may also bring a completed nomination form directly to City Hall. Note: It is too late send nominations through the mail.
More About the Award
Do you know of someone making a positive impact in your community? Someone who's gone unrecognized or mostly unrecognized for all the great things they have done and continue to do to make the City a better place? Every year Columbia Heights seeks nominations for Outstanding Citizen (formally Humanitarian of the Year), and the City needs your help finding the best nominees. The City will award the title to both an adult and youth resident, so please consider residents for ages 14-18, and ages 18+ for your nominations. Winners will be featured in the summer newsletter with a photo and bio and are invited to appear in the Jamboree Parade.
