Board and Commission Applications Due Sept 29

Citizen commissions contribute to the quality of life in the community by assisting the City Council in an advisory capacity regarding a wide range of activities. Residents who serve their community in this way gain valuable insight relative to City operations. Commissioners have the capacity to help shape the community through decisions and input. Members volunteer their time to attend meetings throughout the year to address pertinent matters. Applications are due by Sept 29. View the Boards and Commissions website page here.

• Number of open seats: 10 Youth Commission, 2 EDA, 1 Charter Commission
• Find an application online here, or pick one up at City Hall or at the Columbia Heights Public Library
• Application deadline of Sept 29 for all openings: bring to City Hall, mail, or email sion@columbiaheightsmn.gov
• All positions require an interview except those only applying for Charter Commission (appointed by the Chief Judge of the 10th Judicial District)
