Absentee Voting for the Presidential Nomination Primary

The state will hold a Presidential Nomination Primary on Tue, March 5. Absentee (early) voting begins on Jan 19 and runs through March 4. You can vote early by mail or in-person. In-person absentee voting is at City Hall (3989 Central Ave NE) between 8 am and 4:30 pm (M-F) during the early voting period.

Parking at New City Hall

The new City Hall location has three options for parking, all of which are free. Visitors are reminded that they are not allowed to park on 40th Ave along City Hall or across the street in the lot north of the new City Hall, violators will be towed at their own expense. 

  1. City Hall Garage – There is a parking garage located at 3989 Central Ave NE. Visitors will have to enter off 40th Ave NE to enter. The garage is only open during business hours and for scheduled City meetings. 
  2. Van Buren St NE Ramp – The Van Buren St NE Ramp is located north of 40th Ave NE between Van Buren St NE and Central Ave NE. 
  3. Municipal Parking Lot – The Municipal Parking lot is located south of 40th Ave NE between Van Buren St NE and Central Ave NE.
