City Services Expo is April 11
This event will allow residents to meet with staff regarding the City's short-term and long-term projects and explore job opportunities with the City of Columbia Heights . Top Valu Liquor will have samples of non-alcoholic beverages, and Rail Werks Brewing Depot will also attend and provide free samples of its root beer for attendees, while supplies last.
City Hall has three options for parking, all of which are free. Visitors are reminded that they cannot park on 40th Ave along City Hall or across the street in the lot north of the new City Hall; violators will be towed at their own expense.
- City Hall Garage – There is a parking garage located at 3989 Central Ave NE. The entrance is located on the north side of the building off of 40th Ave NE. The garage is open during business hours and for scheduled City meetings. (Note: you will need to take a ticket to enter the garage. No payment is required when exiting - simply pull up to the garage door and exit).
- Van Buren St NE Ramp – The Van Buren St NE Ramp is located north of 40th Ave NE between Van Buren St NE and Central Ave NE.
- Municipal Parking Lot – The Municipal Parking lot is located south of 40th Ave NE between Van Buren St NE and Central Ave NE.
